In 1999, the Estévez family acquired one of the oldest sherry soleras in the world: Bodegas Valdespino. This includes a vineyard of around 56 hectares in the heart of Pago Macharnudo, one of the most important wine-growing areas with unique climatic conditions and the typical white limestone soils, the "albariza" soils.
